Come see the goldens!

The Golden Retriever Lifetime Study team will join with thousands of other dog lovers at the world famous American Kennel Club Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. The 140th Annual Dog Show is held in New York City, February 15-16. The event crowns the best of the best in the canine world.

As part of the festivities, the AKC ”Meet The Breeds” event provides the public with a chance to see a huge variety of dog breeds, all under one roof. Of course, one of the most popular booths is the golden retriever booth.

The Golden Retriever Club of America will host this year’s booth. The booth is supported and organized by the Hudson Valley Golden Retriever Club, which has graciously invited Morris Animal Foundation’s Golden Retriever Lifetime Study team to help meet and greet visitors who stop by. Thomas Stevens, study volunteer coordinator, will be on hand with special guests, including a few of our Golden Retriever Lifetime Study participant dogs and their owners.

The Meet the Breeds event will be at Pier 92-94 on February 13th from 10 a.m. -5 p.m. The event gives Morris Animal Foundation’s Golden Retriever Lifetime Study team a “golden” opportunity to talk about the study and the foundation’s mission to improve the lives of animals worldwide.

If you are in the area, come by and say hi! We would love to see you and your hero or hero supporter.
