It’s a Golden Celebration! Join Us Sept. 18-20
When Morris Animal Foundation launched its Golden Retriever Lifetime Study in 2012, there were those who wondered if we were trying to do the impossible. After all, no one had ever attempted a study of this size (3,000 dogs) for a period of time this long (at least 10 years) that required a huge commitment from golden retriever owners and veterinarians.
As it turns out, the golden retriever community was ready for the challenge. In fact, they blew by that challenge earlier this year! To say thank you and to celebrate all our amazing owners and their equally incredible dogs, we hope you can join us for the 3,000 Strong Celebration on Sept. 18-20 in Denver, Colo.
There will be people-only events and dog-friendly events, with a lot of fun for everyone. The festivities kick off on Friday, Sept. 18, with a Yappy Hour hosted by the Morris Animal Foundation. You’ll get a chance to mingle and mix with the foundation staff and learn more about what we do. On Saturday evening, you’ll enjoy the 3,000 Strong Celebration Gala at the beautiful Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
On Sunday, everyone is invited (including our furry friends) to dock diving and socializing at the Canine & Conditioning Rehabilitation Group in Broomfield, Colo.
More information and registration for the event can be found on the event website!
